release show for Something Special, a 3-song EP of 'stray' songs (a tune about being obsessed with Bigfoot as a child; an 'unfinished' song about getting lost in San Diego I finally decided was finished; and a he-done-me-wrong ditty written in a Travelodge near LAX) recorded when we had some time left at the end of a Bay Station recording session at Lost Monkey. I recall a fun gig at Awaken with some of my favorite locals and one of my favorite gig posters to date by R.Black.
