Danny is another one of those stealth musical badasses populating the Bay Area. I first saw him play a few years back on a bill with the excellent Joe Rut. Then the fabulous Val Esway brought him along to one of the Octopus songwriter nights I was hosting. Yet another fine troubadour pal Michael Shaffer then gave me a CD of his that Danny had produced. Hmmm. I liked what I was hearing. When I wanted to mix things up on my next recording project, I asked him if he wanted to help produce it.
