I haven't embraced live streaming as much as may have been advisable for an indie artist making music amid a pandemic; nonetheless, I've participated in a bunch of the monthly Quaranpalooza livestream music fests since John Rybak started them in 2020. Equal parts virtual music fest, song-relay and musician 'open-studio', each Quaranpalooza represents a wide swath of the musical stew out there bubbling away while we all weather the variables and variants of living amid Covid. I'm going to put into the Quaranpalooza stream again this Saturday, one of more than two dozen acts Zooming in from NYC, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Malaysia, Upstate NY as well as here in the Bay Area.
